18,084 non-Maltese EU nationals registered to vote in Malta for the EP elections

Of the total of 371,632 people registered to vote in Malta in the European Parliament (EP) elections, 18,084 are non-national EU citizens. Mobile EU citizens participating in EP elections have the option of casting their vote either in their home or host country.

Mobile EU citizens in Malta are required to undergo a registration procedure with the Electoral Commission. The deadline for registrations is March 31, 2019. The Electoral Commission will accept registrations received via post up until April 1 if these were sent before the deadline.
