Norberto Emmerich holds a BA in International Relations and a PhD in Political Science. He currently works as researcher and postgraduate professor in the Nacional Institute of Advanced Research (Instituto de Altos Estudios Nacionales) in Quito, Ecuador. He is a board member of the Latin-American Association of Researchers on Electoral Campaigns, and President of the Ciudadanos del Mundo Foundation based in Buenos Aires. His research interests include drug trafficking, political communication, migration and political theory.
