University College Dublin
Mary Shayne has been working at University College Dublin as a Research Assistant to Dr. Iseult Honohan since November 2009. She began her study of Politics at the University of Dallas and went on to complete an MA in European Studies at University College Dublin. During this programme, she developed her interest in migration and citizenship issues, conducting research on immigration from Poland to Ireland since the 2004 enlargement of the European Union. In addition to her work on migration and citizenship, she has most recently acted as research assistant for ‘Mapping the Irish State,’ a project of the UCD Geary Institute on state administration. She is currently working on a PhD proposal.
Thank you and good luck to Mary
