In addition, she worked on the various researches projects for the Robert Schuman Center for Advances Studies in Florence.  Her research interests include political socialization, social and political trust, educational inequality and civic education.

“After the completion of the ACIT project, Tijana has left Maastricht University in September 2013 to become a Post-Doctoral Researcher at INED in Paris. While working for our observatory, Tijana was responsible for the analysis of existing survey data in the field of immigrant naturalization and integration indicators. Her core work for the project has led to the successful launch of an online database on ‘citizenship acquisition indicators’ and to three co-authored academic papers, respectively on determinants of immigrant naturalization, on naturalization and political participation, and on naturalization and labour market performance. On behalf of the whole EUDO CITIZENSHIP team I wish her all the best for her future academic career and thank her sincerely for her contributions to our observatory.”
