Katja Swider is a doctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam, writing about tensions within the legal regulatory regimes on statelessness, under the supervision of Prof. Leonard Besselink and Prof. René de Groot. Katja has an LLM in European Law from the Leiden University, an LLM in Legal Research from the Utrecht University, and an Honours BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Utrecht, the latter two with a cum laude distinction. She is an Advisory Committee member of the European Network on Statelessness.
