Clarissa Tabosa is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of European Studies and International Relations, Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava. She is also a teacher at the Bratislava International School of Liberal Arts (BISLA). Clarissa was previously a visiting researcher at the Center for Comparative Immigration Studies (CCIS) at the University of California, San Diego. She has contributed as an external expert to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Implementation Agency of the Slovak Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, and Family. Her research interests include securitization theory, migration policies, and migrant integration. Currently, her focus lies on analyzing global power relations within the field of International Relations, with a specific emphasis on exploring the complex dynamics between Brazil and the Western world.
