Co-Director

Jo Shaw has held the Salvesen Chair of European Institutions at the University of Edinburgh since January 2005, and is Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities. She has been Dean of Research and Deputy Head of the College of Humanities and Social Science and Co-Director of the Europa Institute.

Her research focuses on citizenship and constitutionalism in a wider European perspective and – in addition to her involvement in EUDO-citizenship – she is principal investigator of a major European Research Council funded project on The Europeanisation of Citizenship in the Successor States of the Former Yugoslavia (CITSEE).
