Eric MONTCHO AGBASSA is an Associate in Private Law and Criminal Sciences, teaching at the University of Abomey-Calavi. His areas of interest are, among others, Private International Law, Law of Obligations, Human Rights, etc. For more than a decade, he has been interested in the Law of Nationality and Statelessness, through his scientific production, teaching, the direction of several research projects, the hosting of conferences in Benin and abroad. Furthermore, he created the Research Group on Nationality, Statelessness and Migration (GRENAM) which is involved in carrying out research, training and awareness-raising work on the right to nationality and the fight against the risks of statelessness.
