Julia Schweers is a postdoctoral Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute and holds a DPhil in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford. She is interested in the return migration of dual citizens and global inequalities associated with citizenship, as well as in authoritarian refugee policymaking.
