Dr. Tina Magazzini is a political scientist interested in how categories of inclusion/exclusion are created and maintained across different settings in a comparative perspective. Her research focuses on the tension between different types of inequalities, migration and integration policies, identity politics and the relationship between majorities, minorities and states employing comparative and mixed methodologies. Currently affiliated to the University of Valladolid (Faculty of Social, Legal and Communication Sciences) and the Czech Academy of Sciences (Department of Mobility and Migration), she has carried out a wide range of consultancy and policy work for NGOs, UN agencies, the European Commission and the Council of Europe on ethnic, linguistic and religious minority rights. She is also co-director of INTEGRIM Lab, a non-profit organisation that provides evidence-based research on migration, integration and social justice
