Nina Carlsson is a visiting fellow at the European University Institute, a Swedish Research Council postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University, and a Kone Foundation research fellow at the Migration Institute of Finland. She holds a PhD in political science from Södertörn University, Sweden, and has previously been a visiting research fellow at the University of Copenhagen, Queen’s University in Canada, and the Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul. She has held pre-doctoral researcher positions at the University of Vienna and the University of Graz. Her main research interests are citizenship, migration, language policy, national minorities, and the far right.
