Judit Tóth PhD, Dr. jur, is a lawyer, associate professor of constitutional law (Institute of Public Law, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, University of Szeged). She was a senior research fellow in the Centre for Migration & Refugee Studies (1991-2000) and Minority Studies (2000-2011) in the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She has own courses on citizenship law, minority and migrants’ rights, non-profit sector, and she has been the leader of Legal Clinic since 2004. She has published hundreds of articles on refugee and migration policy, law as well as on citizenship law. She has worked in international research teams on migration issues since 1991, for example in EU 6th Framework Programme, Free Movement of Workers Network and Horizon2020. She was involved into the legislative preparatory work and protection of fundamental rights as adviser for 25 years (in the Ministry of Environment/ Social Affairs/ Interior/ Justice, Parliamentary Committee on Constitutional Reform, Prime Minister’s Office and Ombudsman Office)
