Yasmin Carvalho (Azevêdo) is a qualified lawyer in Brazil and a Master in International Law and International Relations from the University of Lisbon, where her research focused on the externalization of asylum-seekers. Based in Abu Dhabi, her current work is focused on employment-based U.S. immigration, and she serves as GLOBALCIT’s country expert for Portugal, focusing on the evolution of Portugal’s naturalisation regime.
