Nooreddine, Duaa

Lebanon

Duaa Nooreddine is a doctoral researcher at the European University Institute. Her research sits at the intersection of statelessness, forced migration, and nationality, with a focus on Lebanon and the wider Middle East. Her doctoral research examines the interaction between fragmented statelessness and semi-nomadic, trans-border communities such as the Dom in Lebanon.

Alongside her doctoral research, Duaa’s background includes gender-based violence casework and programming, working with refugee and migrant women, including in detention contexts in Lebanon, as well as with diaspora and migrant communities.
