Mohammad Amaan Siddiqui is a Radcliffe scholar working toward a DPhil in International Relations at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom). He earned an MA in Political Science from the University of California Irvine (United States) and a BA in International Studies at the American University of Sharjah (United Arab Emirates). Mohammad is also a non-resident fellow for the Gulf Labour Markets, Migration, and Population Programme (GLMM) at the Gulf Research Center. His research interests include migration, non/citizenship, and nationalism in the Arabian Gulf and South Asia as well as the diaspora politics of actors in and from the Gulf. Mohammad’s research appears in the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Third World Quarterly, Nations & Nationalism, the Journal of Arabian Studies, and in an edited volume, ‘The Future of Migration to GCC Countries.
