The National Consultative Commission for Human Rights (CNCDH) has voiced its concerns regarding the draft constitutional Law on the Protection of the Nation, which is currently debated in the French Parliament. The CNCDH considers measures such as the proposed deprivation of citizenship for suspects of terrorism intrusive to fundamental rights and freedoms and a violation of republican principles.
