The EUI seeks applications for a chair in citizenship studies, a core EUI strength. The chair is located in the flagship Global Governance Programme (GGP) of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. The EUI seeks senior candidates with a strong publication record, experience in leading large research projects and expertise in comparative research on citizenship. A track record in securing competitive research funding is expected.
The chair is expected to consolidate and further develop the Global Citizenship Observatory’s databases (GLOBALCIT) and related research. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise doctoral researchers across a range of themes in citizenship studies.
