The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe moved to re-establish the Committee of Experts on Nationality. It expressed regret that there was no follow-up to the final report of the Group of Specialists on Nationality which was presented in 2009 and recommended to the Committee of Ministers to act to promote the accession to the European Convention of Nationality and reestablish the group.
