In the eve of the elections for European Parliament, the UN High Commissioner for the Refugees called for attention to the nearly half a million stateless persons living in Europe who live under the radar and are denied some of the most fundamental political rights.

The UNHCR will launch a campaign for naturalisation of these people latter this year.
