The High Court in Ireland has allowed foreign citizens who apply for citizenship or residence permits and suffer from undue delays to challenge the Minister for Justice and Equality. The Court reaches this conclusion in the case of an Iraqi man who applied for citizenship in 2008 and is still waiting for a decision.
