We congratulate Jelena Džankić, the GLOBALCIT coordinator since 2015, who has been appointed as Part-time Professor at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. This appointment comes in recognition of Jelena’s academic achievements. She has recently published her second monograph The Global Market for Investor Citizenship (Palgrave, 2019) and has served also as an expert on investor residence and citizenship policies for the European Commission. Jelena has not only coordinated the GLOBALCIT website, databases, research projects and events but has been involved in all strategic decisions and has represented GLOBALCIT on numerous occasions. For our network of 350 experts worldwide, Jelena is the name they most connect with GLOBALCIT. As of 1 February, we have therefore decided that Jelena should also formally become the fourth GLOBALCIT co-director, a role that she has de facto already played for a long time.
