Valerio Pappalardo has been responsible for designing and developing the web infrastructure of EUDO Citizenship, including a large number of databases, eg on national citizenship laws, modes of acquisition of citizenship, modes of loss of citizenship, protection against statelessness in Europe, national electoral laws, electoral rights, and many more. Without his hard work and creativity the Observatory would not have been what it is today: a highly accessible and user-friendly webportal on citizenship in Europe. Valerio leaves the EUI in April 2014. We thank him for his great contribution and wish him all the best.
