A forthcoming special issue of Citizenship Studies ‘The Power to Expel: Deportation and Denationalisation in Historical, Legal and Normative Perspective’ (vol. 24, no. 3, May 2020) has been guest-edited by GLOBALCIT collaborator Rutger Birnie and co-director Rainer Bauböck. All articles are already available online. This special issue is based on a workshop organised by our Observatory in February 2019, where contributors presented the early drafts of their work.
