Costa Rica

Paola Alvarado holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Costa Rica and a Masters in Human Rights from the the Open University of Costa Rica (distance learning).

Since 2009, she has been working for the Supreme Electoral Court of Costa Rica, where she has been in charge of several electoral programmes related to electronic voting and voting from abroad. 

She has participated to a variety of courses and seminars on elections and democracy, as well as youth leadership and human rights.
