Roxana Barbulescu is a Research Fellow at the Department for Sociological Studies, University of Sheffield. She holds a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the European University Institute in Florence and an MA from Jacobs University Bremen. Her interests are state-driven migration in its voluntary and mandatory policy-variants, immigrants’ rights, intra-European mobility and migration governance, access to citizenship, EU citizenship, anti-Roma prejudice, anti-discrimination policies and unaccompanied minors in asylum systems.
