Harald Bauder is the Director of the Graduate Program in Immigration and Settlement Studies and a Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. His latest books include the edited volumes Sanctuary Cities and Urban Struggles: Rescaling Migration, Citizenship, and Rights (with Jonathan Darling, Mancester University Press, 2019) and Putting Family First: Migration and Integration in Canada (UBC Press, 2019) as well as the mongraph Migration Borders Freedom (Routledge, 2017).
