Burnley, Jasmine

Jasmine Burnley is a development professional with over 15 years’ experience in policy and management of development and humanitarian programmes, holding positions in Africa and Asia. Jasmine has worked across a range of sectors including responsible investment, gender, governance and humanitarian emergencies. For five years, Jasmine was based in Myanmar, where she was Director of Policy for Oxfam, before moving to work for the United Nations Development Programme, as Head of the Secretariat for the Cooperation Partners Group, a coordination mechanism for bilaterals, international financial institutions and UN agencies in Myanmar. In 2020, Jasmine took up a Policy Leaders Fellowship at the European University Institute, Florence, and she is now a doctoral researcher in the International Development Department at the University of Birmingham.
