Perle – Audrey Diaha épouse YAO est juriste et titulaire d’un Master en droit privé fondamental à l’Université Catholique de l’Afrique de l’Ouest d’Abidjan. Actuellement responsable juridique sur le projet UNHCR/MJDH « Prévention apatridie » qui lie le Ministère de la Justice et des Droits de l’Homme au bureau du Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies pour les Réfugiés en Côte d’Ivoire, elle participe depuis bientôt sept ans, à la mise en œuvre et la supervision des activités juridiques du projet, qui a pour objectif général d’éradiquer l’apatridie en Côte d’Ivoire.
Ses principales tâches l’ont amenée à se perfectionner dans la matière et à rédiger, en juillet 2020, son mémoire de fin de cycle, soldé par une mention très bien , sur le thème « La loi n°2013-653 du 13 septembre 2013 portant dispositions particulières en matière d’acquisition de la nationalité par déclaration : incidence sur la résolution des cas d’apatridie ». Fière d’avoir contribué aux travaux d’élaboration et de conception du Plan d’Action National pour l’Eradication de l’Apatridie en Côte d’Ivoire (PANEACI), elle se réjouit de son adoption en janvier 2020, qui place le pays au rang de 8e pays de la sous-région marquant son engagement dans la lutte contre ce fléau humanitaire.

Perle – Audrey Diaha, married Yao, is a lawyer and holds a Masters in Basic Private Law from the Catholic University of West Africa in Abidjan. Currently, she is a legal officer on the UNHCR / MJDH “Prevention of statelessness” project which links the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights to the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Côte d’Ivoire. She has participated for nearly seven years in the implementation and supervision of the legal activities of the project, which has the general objective of eradicating statelessness in Côte d’Ivoire.
Her main tasks led her to improve her skills on the topic and to dedicate herself to further study. In July 2020, she completed her dissertation (with honours) on the topic “Law n ° 2013-653 of September 13, 2013 laying down specific provisions on acquisition of nationality by declaration: impact on the resolution of statelessness cases ”. She has contributed to the development and design of the National Action Plan for the Eradication of Statelessness in Côte d’Ivoire (PANEACI). Diana-Yao is proud to have seen the adoption of this document in January 2020, meaning Côte d’Ivoire became the eighth country in the sub-region that formally committed to the fight against this humanitarian scourge.
