Avigail Eisenberg is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Victoria. Amongst her publications are two monographs, Reasons of Identity (OUP 2009) and Reconstructing Political Pluralism (SUNY 1995), eight edited books and numerous research papers. She is currently working on a book about pluralism and political authority which partly focuses on political authority and the environment. Eisenberg recently served as chair of her department (2013-18). She has held several visiting research fellowships, most recently at Cornell University’s Society for the Humanities.
