Felicetti, Andrea

Andrea Felicetti (PhD, Australian National University) is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, Law, and International Studies at the University of Padua. Andrea has worked in research centers in various countries, including Australia (University of Canberra – Institute for Governance and Policy Analysis), Belgium (UC Louvain – Hoover Chair – and KU Leuven -Center for Political Research), France (University of Lille 3 – CeRIES), and Italy (European University Institute and Scuola Normale Superiore – COSMOS). His main research interests and teaching activities revolve around democratic theories, public spheres, and governance. He is the author of Deliberative Democracy and Social Movements (2016, Rowman & Littlefield International) and co-author of Discursive Turns and Critical Junctures (2020, Oxford University Press). His research is featured in numerous distinguished international journals including Science, Journal of Politics, European Journal of Political Research, and Journal of Business Ethics. Currently, he is the PI of the project “Democratic innovations and the governance of New Genomic Techniques in Europe”.
