Christian Fernández is associate professor in political science at the Department of Global Political Studies (GPS) and senior researcher at the Malmö Institute for Migration Studies (MIM), Malmö University. His research interests include citizenship, toleration and political theory, and questions of migration and integration, education, diversity and free speech. He is also the head of the master’s programmes in International Migration and Ethnic Relations at GPS.
