Oxana Golynker was appointed Lecturer in Law at Leicester in 2006. Her teaching career began in Russia where she specialised in Employment Law and carried out research at St Petersburg State University. Later, she carried out doctoral research at the University of Leicester. Her PhD project was devoted to free movement of persons in the European Union and lead to the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 2003 and publications. Currently, Oxana teaches Employment Law, European Union Law and Analysing Law. Her current research project deals with challenges of the changing paradigm of social solidarity and socio-economic membership in the European Union. She also works as a headnote writer for Common Market Law Reports.
