Mari-Liis Jakobson is Associate Professor of Political Sociology at Tallinn University School of Governance, Law and Society and researcher at the Estonian national contact point for the European Migration Network. She holds a PhD in politics and government from Tallinn University (2014). Her research interests relate to transnational citizenship and migration, in particular how the policies and politics of migration and citizenship shape citizenship as identity and practice.
