Jana Kazaz has defended her doctoral thesis titled “Changing Parliamentary Functions: European Perspectives” in January 2014 at Central European University in Budapest. In her comparative work she researched parliamentary functions in Germany, Slovakia, Turkey and the United Kingdom. In relation to her doctoral research she was awarded TUBITAK scholarship and spent 12 months at Bogazici University in Turkey and CEU doctoral scholarship for three months at Centre of Socio Legal Studies at Oxford University in the UK. Jana obtained her LL.M degree in comparative constitutional law with specialization in EU law from Central European University in Budapest, and Master degree in Law from University of Pavol Jozef Safarik in Kosice, Slovakia. Jana currently resides in Vienna, Austria.
