Jooyun Lee is Professor of Law at Kwangwoon University, where she also serves as the Head of International Student Programs in her department. She received her B.A. from Yonsei University and subsequently earned both her LL.M. and Ph.D. in International Law from the same University.
Supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea, she undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Tübingen. She also holds an LL.M. in European Law from Saarland University.
She previously worked at the Korea Legislation Research Institute and has taught International Law, International Trade Law, and EU Law at several institutions, including Yonsei University and KAIST.
Her research focuses on the relationship between international law and domestic law, international dispute settlement mechanisms, and the interplay between WTO law and human rights. She has also conducted in-depth research on issues of nationality in the Republic of Korea from an international law perspective.
