Karanika, Vera

Vera Karanika is working at the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion as an Education and Programme Assistant. She studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (LL.B.) and European and International Human Rights Law at Leiden University (LL.M.). Vera previously worked as a trainee lawyer and successfully completed Thessaloniki’s Bar Association examination. She interned at Antigone, a Greek NGO, researching the Greek asylum system and engaged in volunteer work for New Neighborhood, a citizen’s initiative in Berlin working on refugee inclusion.
