Aleksandra Kjakste is a lecturer and External Relations Coordinator at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, where she is also pursuing a PhD in Political Science. Her academic and professional interests focus on public administration, governance, democratization, civic participation, and institutional development in the post-Soviet space. Her doctoral research examines opportunities for public administration modernization through the principles of good governance, with particular attention to Latvia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. She is also involved in international academic cooperation and research projects related to higher education, mobility, institutional resilience, and societal development.
