Vincent Laborderie is Researcher and PhD candidate at the Catholic University of Louvain. His PhD thesis is dedicated to European Union’s policy about international recognition of new states in Europe (Czechoslovakia, Montenegro). His researches also concern nationalism and state creation process, especially in the western world (Quebec, Scotland, Catalonia, Flanders). He regularly writes on federalism and Belgian politics.
