Franziska Maier is a postdoctoral researcher for the project “Designing Democracy on Mars and Earth” at the University of Stuttgart. Her research on the future of democracy explores belonging in migration societies and the future of citizenship, as well as democratic decision-making on national and supranational levels. In pursuing these topics, she uses both quantitative methods and theoretical analyses. Franziska is Editor of the Journal of Deliberative Democracy.
