Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies (SFM), University of Neuchâtel
Anita Manatschal is assistant professor in Migration Policy Analysis at the Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies (SFM) at the University of Neuchâtel. This position is affiliated with the Swiss NSF research center NCCR on the move – the migration-mobility nexus. Before joining the SFM, she was postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, researcher and lecturer at Bern University, and visiting scholar at the European University Institute in Florence. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, General Linguistics and Islamic Studies from the University of Zurich, and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Bern. Her research interests include migration policy analysis, democratic institutions, immigrant integration, civic engagement and pro-/anti-social attitudes. Recent publications appeared in Policy Sciences, West European Politics, Political Studies, and the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies.
