Ognjenka Manojlovic is a GLOBALCIT Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh. She works closely with country experts on extending and updating the databases of national legislation and case law on acquisition and loss of citizenship across the globe.
Ognjenka is a former legal practitioner based in Croatia where she worked on citizenship cases involving regulation of citizenship in post-Yugoslavia landscape of national citizenships. As a legal practitioner she also concentrated on human rights cases and constitutional law. Her professional track includes extensive experience in projects such as founding and capacity building of the Legal Aid Clinic at the Zagreb Law School and assistance in management and running of the Public and Private Justice Conference at the Inter-University Centre in Dubrovnik.
Ognjenka holds an LL.M in European Law from the University of Edinburgh (Edinburgh Law School) where she studied as a Chevening scholar. Her previous law studies were completed at the Zagreb Law School where she was awarded an LL.B degree.
