Suriname
Ngo Chun Luk is TRANSMIC Research Assistant at the Centre for European Policy Studies (Brussels) and PhD candidate at Maastricht University. His PhD research focuses on the relationship between forms of ‘quasi-citizenship’ and return migration in China, India, Turkey and Suriname (TRANSMIC is a project coordinated by Maastricht University and funded by the European Commission’s Marie Curie actions).
He previously studied law at the University of Aruba (Aruban Law) and Maastricht University (International Laws). He is co-author of the MACIMIDE Global Dual Citizenship Database, together with prof. G.R. de Groot and prof. M. Vink. He was also involved in the Involuntary Loss of European Citizenship (ILEC) Project from 2013 to 2014.
