John O’Dowd has been a lecturer in the Faculty (and subsequently the School) of Law at UCD since 1991, where he has taught contract law, constitutional Law, administrative Law, media Law and the law of the European Convention on Human Rights. His current research mainly focuses on the collective organisation of the judiciary as a professional interest group and its implications for the separation of powers.
