Paulina Ochoa Espejo is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Yale University, and currently a Laurance S. Rockefeller Fellow at the University Center for Human Values, Princeton University.  She is the author of The Time of Popular Sovereignty: Process and the Democratic State (PSUP, 2011), and is currently completing a book manuscript, provisionally entitled A Theory of Borders: People, Territory, and Legitimacy in the Democratic State.
