Liav Orgad is the co-director of the Rubinstein “Center for Constitutional Challenges” at Reichman University; a Visiting Research Professor, “International Citizenship Law,” at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center; and a Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence at Peking University School of Transnational Law; a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, the European University Institute; and a legal commentator at the Israeli TV channel Relevant. His research focuses on constitutional identity, democratic theory, citizenship studies, transnational governance, and technological innovation. He is the author of The Cultural Defense of Nations: A Liberal Theory of Majority Rights (Oxford University Press, 2016) and co-editor of the volume Majorities, Minorities, and the Future of Nationhood (Cambridge University Press, 2022).
