University of Sterling

Ben Saunders is currently Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Stirling. From 1st September 2014, he will be Senior Lecturer in Political Philosophy at the University of Southampton (a move which will prevent him from voting in the Scottish referendum). His primary interests are in democratic theory and liberalism, both in their contemporary forms and in the work of John Stuart Mill. He has published work related to this debate in journals including Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and Politics.
