Irene Sobrino is a lecturer in Constitutional Law at the University of Seville since October 2006.

She holds a Ph.D. in Law from the European University Institute on the relations between Welfare state and federalism from a comparative perspective. Her research interests are in political theory and comparative research on social rights, European integration, citizenship and political decentralization.
