Daniel Thym holds the Jean-Monnet-Chair of European, International and Public Law at University of Konstanz and serves as the managing Director of the Research Centre Immigration & Asylum Law. Before he served as assistant professor and in diverse research positions at the Walter-Hallstein-Institute for European Constitutional Law and the Faculty of Law at Humboldt-University in Berlin. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals on diverse issues of European law, with a special focus on asylum, immigration, constitutional affairs and external relations.
