Sayaka Osanami Törngren is a researcher at Malmo Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare at Global Political Studies, Malmo University, Sweden. She received her Ph.D. in Migration and Ethnic Studies with a dissertation titled Love Ain’t Got No Color? Attitude toward Interracial Marriage in Sweden. She is engaged in research in the field of International Migration and Ethnic Relations, especially on race and ethnicity, integration, intermarriage, and multiracial and multiethnic identities in Japan and Sweden. Her most recent publication includes Attitudes toward interracial marriage and the role of interracial contacts in Sweden in Ethnicities 2016:16(4).
