Martijn van den Brink is an Assistant Professor in EU law at the Europa Institute, Leiden University. His research interests lie at the interface of EU constitutional law and political theory. In his research, Martijn focuses in particular on the constitutional position of the EU legislature, on EU citizenship and freedom of movement, and on the regulation of religious equality within the EU.
