Martijn van den Brink is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford. Prior to joining the University of Oxford, Martijn was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, Göttingen. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute. His research is in the field of EU constitutional law and focuses in particular on EU citizenship, non-discrimination on grounds of religion, and the allocation of authority between EU institutions.
